Knife is a narrow reef ridge that cuts into the current from the south-west side. It drops away steeply on both sides, and on the point the water runs hardest. Plenty of fish, little margin: this is a dive with a plan.

A narrow ridge at five to eight metres with dense hard coral, dropping away on both sides to thirty-eight metres. Around the point, schools of jacks and grunts, with tarpon and barracuda around them. Vase sponges and sea fans on the flanks.
In a moderate current you can use, as a drift dive along one flank. In strong current most boats carry on.
On the point the current can be strong and turn; anyone wanting to go around it must know when it reverses. Little shallow water to off-gas on. Boat only, no facilities.
