Twixt is named after its position: between two better-known moorings on the south side of Klein Bonaire. That means the same reef with less company. Otherwise it is an ordinary, pleasant slope.
Twixt is an advanced boat dive on the south side of Klein Bonaire: a reef top at five to seven metres and a slope to thirty-five metres, between two better-known moorings.
A top at five to seven metres with finger coral and sponges, dropping to thirty-five metres. Sea fans and vase sponges on the slope; schools of grunts and jacks along the edge.
In calm sea and moderate current, as a drift dive with the flow. Also suitable as a second dive of a boat day.
No feature to set the dive apart. The current can build towards the south-west corner. Boat only, no facilities on Klein Bonaire.
Decisions on diveability, technique and health belong with STINAPA, a dive school or a doctor. This page only describes the conditions.
The moorings around Klein Bonaire lie close together on what is in fact one continuous reef. Names like this mark distance between moorings, not a difference in reef.
