Jerry's Reef lies on the north-east side of Klein Bonaire, the side that faces Kralendijk. The reef top is broad and shallow, the current light: a good place for a calm dive or to snorkel from the boat.
Jerry's Reef is a beginner boat dive on the north-east side of Klein Bonaire: a broad reef top at four to six metres and a gradual slope to thirty metres.
A broad top at four to six metres with finger coral, fan coral and plenty of juvenile fish. The slope runs gradually to thirty metres with sponges and sea fans. Turtles regularly above the top, and schools of grunts along the edge.
Year round in calm sea; this side lies in the lee. In the morning the visibility over the top is best.
Little relief and little depth: a calm dive, not a wall. Boat only. No facilities on Klein Bonaire — bring water and shade.
Decisions on diveability, technique and health belong with STINAPA, a dive school or a doctor. This page only describes the conditions.
The side of Klein Bonaire that faces Bonaire lies in double lee and so has the broadest, shallowest tops in the area. The island is uninhabited and fully protected since 1999.
